So, today I talked to Mr. Martinak . It's been a while since we've had more than a few passing greetings. From a while back, I asked him if he's going to teach World History AP and he didn't know yet at the time (more precisely, he said that the administration had something against the Martinak family and hence, he doesn't know if he'll get the job). Then, I told him that if he taught the class, then I really, really, really want to take it.
Well, turns out he is teaching the class. And I really, really, really do want to take it. But I can't.
My elective is Chamber. I'm not dropping anything. Hence, I have no openings in my schedule. :C
I really wish I could've dropped Spanish, because I know I'm going to fail next year anyways; however, my guidance counseler and everyone said it looks better for me to have at least three years of language during school. What a waste of time; Spanish and me, we don't click. Kind of like Animal Biology and me.
And since I want to go into corporate law with focus around Asia (China) or maybe teach in colleges in Hong Kong, I basically don't have a forseeable use for Spanish. And it's taking away an AP from me.
But Mr. Martinak said that I could audit his class, if my schedule allows for it, and I definitely hope that somehow our schedules will match. Because I'm not doing it just for the AP; I really enjoyed World History last year, and I adore Mr. Martinak's class. Being in his class actually makes me want to improve myself, because he gives out so many different perspectives, and gosh, it's just so fun!
:C
And the worst part is, World History AP isn't even offered to seniors! What?! What, what, what?! But what if I really want to take it?
I guess I'll just pray really hard that either a) my junior study hall allows me to audit, b) my senoir study hall allows me to audit, or c) they'll make it available for seniors next year.
Dammit~
